1. Ques: Can graphics be made in any size?

Ans: All graphics can be made to any size or scale.

 

2. Ques: What is the difference between graphics from Scale Masters Graphics and kit or other companies' decals?

Ans: Scale Masters Graphics use only premium 2 ml thick vinyl. It is printed on using state of the art industrial technology to produce only first rate graphics with the most vivid color and sharpest detail. Most other decals are made of Mylar and printed on a laser printer. Color quantity is not as good; and Mylar will yellow and crack with age. The clear around a Mylar decal is also very noticeable. Clear vinyl is very transparent.

 

3. Ques: How do Cajun RC Graphics products hold up?

Ans: Because the graphics are made from premium vinyl instead of Mylar (the material used by kit decals and some other competitors), our graphics will not crack, flake, or turn yellow with age. I have seen planes flown since 1995, and the graphics look just as splendid as the day they were put on.

 

4. Ques: Can I clear coat over the graphics?

Ans: Yes- any clear finish can be applied. However, you must use a quick mist (very light coat) over the graphics and let the clear mist dry for a minute before recoating. After misting three or four times, you may apply a normal coat of clear to the whole plane.

 

5. Ques: Are these graphics fuel proof and gasoline proof?

Ans: Yes, the graphics are fuel proof to 30% nitro and unaffected by gasoline. Other material such as water transfer decals really need to be clear coated; other materials are only fuel proof to 10 -15% nitro.
